Why are my subscription credits expiring?
Updated yesterday

Chatbooks credits expire 13 months after their issue date. This credit expiration policy is similar to other credit-based programs you may be familiar with and exists for the following two reasons:

  1. Matching Prices to Fulfillment Costs: The costs we incur to print and ship your books increase over time and we therefore need to align credit usage with the printing and shipping costs in effect at the time of purchase. Expiration dates help ensure that we can cover our costs and continue to provide great service.

  2. A Friendly Nudge to Print Your Memories: We know our customers are living busy lives and juggling lots of priorities. Sometimes a deadline is just the thing we need to help us find the 10 minutes we need to get something done. We hope you receive our reminder notifications in the spirit we send them — a friendly nudge to add your memories and print your books!

Need more time?
Sometimes a timely reminder is all we need, but other times “now is just not the time” and we get that! If you ever find yourself needing a little more time you can easily extend your expiration date by 30 days while keeping your subscription active.
