If some of your photos aren't showing up in the Chatbooks app, here's how to get them to sync.
Good to know:
Start by updating the Chatbooks app to the latest version.
Chatbooks needs access to all your photos to show them in the app.
Most phones save space by storing older photos in the cloud, so the Chatbooks app can't add them until they're downloaded to your phone.
How do I give Chatbooks access to my photos? (iOS)
Open your iPhone's "Settings."
Scroll down and tap "Chatbooks."
Tap "Photos."
Select "Full Access."
If you choose "Limited Access," the app only shows the photos you picked. If you turned off photo access before, the Chatbooks app will ask again the next time you add photos, as long as you have the latest version.
How do I give Chatbooks access to my photos? (Android)
Open your phone's "Settings."
Tap "Apps," then tap "Chatbooks."
Tap "Permissions," then tap "Photos and videos."
Select "Allow all."
Menu names may be a little different depending on your phone.
How do I get my photos to sync? (iOS)
Open your iPhone's "Settings."
Tap your name at the top.
Tap "iCloud," then tap "Photos."
Select "Download and Keep Originals."
Once your photos finish downloading, open the Chatbooks app and add them to your book.
You can switch this setting back after you finish your Chatbooks. Photos already in your books will stay there.
How do I get my photos to sync? (Android)
Open the Google Photos app.
Select the photo or video you'd like to add.
Tap "More," then tap "Download."
Once it's downloaded to your phone, it will be available in the Chatbooks app.
If you don't see "Download," the photo is already saved on your phone.
