Your phone lets you choose how many of your photos the Chatbooks app can see to show you when adding photos into your Chatbooks. Here's how each option works and how to switch.

Make sure your Chatbooks app is updated to the latest version.
Your photos are always yours, and we never share them with anyone.
Your photos are encrypted while they upload and while they're stored.
You can change your photo access anytime in your phone's settings.
What is Limited Access?
The Chatbooks app can only see the photos you choose to share with it.
New photos won't show up in the app until you add them to your selection.
Some Chatbooks features, like adding photos to Studio books, need Full Access.
What is Full Access?
The Chatbooks app can show you your whole photo library within the app, so you can find and add photos in one step.
How do I switch to Full Access? (iOS)
Open your iPhone's "Settings."
Tap "Apps," then tap "Chatbooks."
Tap "Photos."
Select "Full Access."
On older iOS versions, scroll down and tap "Chatbooks" in Settings instead. The Chatbooks app may close after you change this setting, so just open it again.
How do I switch to Full Access? (Android)
Open your phone's "Settings."
Tap "Apps," then tap "Chatbooks."
Tap "Permissions," then tap "Photos and videos."
Select "Allow all."
Menu names may be a little different depending on your phone.
Why isn't the app showing all my photos?
Update the app. Check the App Store or Google Play for the latest version of Chatbooks.
Check your photo access. If it's set to Limited Access, the app only shows the photos you picked. Switch to Full Access using the steps above.
Reopen the app. After changing your photo access, close the Chatbooks app completely and open it again.
Download photos stored in the cloud. If your phone saves space by keeping older photos in iCloud or Google Photos, download them to your phone first. See How do I get my photos to sync?
Turn off the Tidy filter. The Tidy filter hides screenshots and similar photos. Tap the "X" on it to see all your photos.
Can I keep Limited Access?
Yes, that's your choice. Just remember to add new photos to your selection before you look for them in the app, and keep in mind that some features need Full Access.
