Subscription credits expire 13 months from the date you purchased them.
Good to know:
If your subscription is canceled, you have 30 days from the cancellation date to use your available credits.
If your subscription started with a promotional offer, credits from the promotion expire immediately when you cancel. Credits purchased outside the promotion expire 30 days after you cancel.
Once credits expire, they can't be used toward your subscription books or refunded.
Need more time? If your subscription is active and a credit is within 30 days of expiring, you may be able to extend it by 30 days. See Can I extend the subscription credit expiration date?
How do I see when my credits expire in the app?
Tap into your subscription.
Tap the Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner.
Tap "Subscription book credits."
You'll see your available credits and when they expire.
How do I see when my credits expire on the web?
Log in to Chatbooks.com.
Click "Home" at the top of the page. Subscriptions with credits expiring soon show a note under the subscription name.
Click your subscription.
Click your book credit count at the top of the page to open "Book credit summary."
Click "My credits" to see each credit and its expiration date.
Why do credits expire?
Printing and shipping costs change over time, so credits are priced to the costs at the time you buy them. Expiration dates also give a friendly nudge to print your memories.
