You can add photos directly from another phone. Add From Another Phone lets you grab photos straight off someone else's phone, like a partner or family member, and add them to your book. There's no need to email, text, AirDrop, or download the photos to your own device first. They won't need a Chatbooks account, and you won't need to log in with your information on their phone.
Where can I use Add From Another Phone?
Add From Another Phone is available in the Chatbooks app on iOS and Android for Monthbooks, Monthly Minis, Baby's First Year, and Classic books. It isn't available for Series. If you're working on the Chatbooks website, you can add photos from a phone by scanning a QR code instead. How do I add photos from another phone to a subscription book?
From the main page, tap into your subscription
Select the month you want to add photos to
Tap the + icon to add photos
Tap Add From Another Phone
Grab the other phone that has the photos you want to add
Scan the QR code with that phone. This automatically signs into your account on their device.
Select the photos on their phone, and they'll go straight into your book

Do I Need to Log In on the Other Phone to Use Add From Another Phone?
You don't need to type in any login information. Scanning the QR code automatically signs into your account on the other phone.
Does the Other Phone Need the Chatbooks App to Use Add From Another Phone?
No. Scanning the QR code opens the photo selection screen in that phone's browser, so no app download is required on their device.
Can I Review Photos Before They're Added to My Book?
Yes. After photos are selected on the other phone, you'll see a preview screen where you can confirm the selection or make changes before the photos are added to your book.
What Happens if I Send More Photos Than My Book Needs?
Any extra photos will automatically be placed in your book's excluded photos, so they won't be lost.
Why Don't I See the New Photos in My Book Right Away?
You may need to refresh the Chatbooks app after the photos are sent for them to appear in your book.
