Due to a recent change by Meta, all third-party connections to their Instagram API were removed late last year, impacting Chatbooks. However, on iOS, you can still add high-quality photos from your phone’s camera roll through our new Quick Add flow that allows you to share your photos from Chatbooks directly to your Instagram feed. It’s essentially the reverse of our previous feature.
Tap the purple "Quick Add" button at the bottom of your screen
Select the photos you'd like to add to your Chatbook(s). You can browse by recent photos or change to a different album in your Camera Roll
After selecting your photos, tap "Add X photos to Chatbooks" at the bottom of the screen
On the next screen, add captions to your photos or click "Skip all" if you prefer not to add captions at this time
Choose the books you’d like to add your photos to then click "Continue"
Tap "Share memories" and scroll to tap "Instagram"
Choose from the options available and complete your post from the Instagram app
