How do I add Facebook as a photo source to my Series?

This article will help you add Facebook as a photo source to your Series subscription.

Follow the steps below to add a new source to your Series. You can also watch the how-to video below for guidance.

Before you can add Facebook as a photo source to your Series, you’ll need to complete the following steps:

Step 1: Allow Chatbooks Access to Your Facebook Photos
To enable Facebook photo access for Chatbooks, follow these steps within the Facebook App:

  1. Open your Facebook App and tap the Menu icon in the bottom-right corner.

  2. Scroll down and tap Settings & Privacy, then tap Settings.

  3. In Settings, scroll to Off-Facebook Activity and tap it. Tap Continue when prompted.

  4. Tap Manage Future Activity.

  5. Select Connect Future Activity.

Step 2: Unlock Past Series Volumes
Next, you'll need to contact Chatbooks Customer Support to unlock your past Series volumes before adding a new photo source. (See below on how to contact Customer Support.)

Step 3: Add Facebook as a New Photo Source
Once your Facebook settings are updated and your past Series volumes are unlocked, follow these steps to add Facebook as a new source:

  1. Open your Chatbooks App and navigate to your Series subscription.

  2. Tap the Settings Wheel in the upper-right corner.

  3. Scroll to Sources.

  4. Tap Add Source and select Facebook.

  5. Follow the Facebook prompts to connect your photos.

Important Note on Photo Uploads
When a new source (like Facebook) is added to an existing Series, new images will be added chronologically to existing volumes. This may result in older photos being added to previously ordered volumes. If you want to exclude older/duplicated photos from uploading, Customer Support can assist in ensuring only new photos are added.
